Somos conscientes de la importancia de proteger las especies en peligro de extinción del mundo y de nuestro continente. Por ello, os dejamos aquí esta propuesta sobre especies en peligro de la Unión Europea. ¿Qué os parece?

ESPECIES EN PELIGRO EN LA UNIÓN EUROPEA
El número de especies animales en peligro dentro de la Unión
Europea ha crecido significativamente en las últimas décadas.
El motivo de este aumento está estrechamente relacionado con
la forma en que los europeos tratan el medio ambiente. Hemos destruido
demasiados hábitats naturales donde los animales puedan vivir libres en el
mundo salvaje.
Como consecuencia de ello, realmente esperamos que desde el
mes de mayo en adelante nuestros miembros electos del Parlamento Europeo
afronten esta situación con seriedad. Los votantes esperan de ellos que
consideren la ecología, y más concretamente, los animales en peligro, un tema
del que tienen que ocuparse.
Estamos seguros de que si esto ocurre, el número de jóvenes
participantes en política crecerá en el futuro.
Por lo tanto, es urgente que nuestros políticos en Bruselas y
Luxemburgo aprueben nuevas leyes en las que promuevan la protección de los
animales. Gracias a ello, lograremos dos grandes cambios: el número de especies
en riesgo disminuirá y la confianza de los jóvenes en la política aumentará.
We are aware how important protecting endangered species of the Earth and Europe is. Therefore, we are contributing with this proposal on endangered species in the European Union. What is your opinion on that?
PROPOSAL ON ENDANGERED SPECIES IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
The number of
endangered animal species in the European Union has grown significantly in the
last few decades.
The reason for
this increase is closely connected to the way Europeans deal with the
environment. We have destroyed too many natural habitats where animals can live
freely in the wild.
As a
consequence of it, we really hope that from next May onwards our elected
members of Parliament in the European Union face up to this situation seriously.
Voters expect them to regard ecology, and more specifically, animals in danger,
as a matter they must take care of. We are certain that if this takes place,
the number of young people participating in politics in the future will be
higher.
Therefore, it
is urgent for our EU politicians in Brussels and Luxembourg to pass new laws
promoting animals’ protection. Thanks to this, we will achieve two major
changes: the number of species at risk will diminish and young people’s trust
in politics will rise.
